“Craig has amazed me, to be honest with you” – Craig’s Support Worker

Craig recently participated in a Storyteller Event at Swansea University which allowed him to use his voice and speak with social work students about his support needs.

 

With dedication and support from PFB staff and his support workers, Craig was confident to do this in front of an audience and despite his communication challenges, spoke clearly and eloquently.

​

We have seen a change in Craig’s confidence and communication abilities and his support worker notes:

“I saw Craig last week and yes, we had a good conversation”

“I think is very important they look forward to going there and they enjoy it whilst they are there. If we say you are going to People First tomorrow, his face lights up. They love seeing other people and mixing with them.”

 

Craig’s House Manager also notes: “From my point of view as House Manager, Craig is really enjoying it and gaining independence.”
